There's always days off.. it's a rigid tv schedule.
Then you change it and let another series start. Having a team wait a week between series makes no sense. Instead of a games 4 and 5 being televised you have games 1 and 2 of the next series. At least that's how I'd do it.

Way to go Phils! Clutch hitting. And Lidge isn't useless after all

Re: the schedule. Very unfair. Great for the Phillies though, who have Cliff Lee, and a big drop-off after that. They can have him pitch for Games 1 4 7 in both the NLCS and WS. Who needs depth when you have that many days off to rest your top pitcher?

I had that during the year, but it doesn't carry on into the playoffs unless you pay 20 bucks. I never would have expected that the MLB playoffs wouldn't be available in HD here in Canada.

Yeah, it should work. Is it regular or premium? It works for me with Premium - and I only subscribed for the last month - month and a half or so. I get to watch the playoffs exactly like I watched that month or 2 of the regular season.

There may be stadium commitments. There may be tv commitments, like HOUSE, BONES, FRINGE. It's FOX's call cause they paid heaps of money and start broadcasting in this round. They want the Yankees and they will push the ALCS to Friday. If everything were on TBS they might have started tomorrow.

Hmm, I didn't know that. I'll give it a shot if I run into the same problem again with Sportsnet.

Yeah, just log in and do it like you always have, should work. the extra post-season part is just for (completely) new subscribers - i.e. if you wanted to watch just the post-season. I believe if you subscribed to any part of the regular season, you get the playoffs as well. Now there is also an issue with what you potentially might see as your playoff feed, but that's another issue.... .

This has turned into a proper Yanks-Angels series now. Yankee half innings last 3 minutes, Angel half innings last 30.

yeah but that's kind of those weird baseball things..

yes they let infielders get away with it but they shouldn't...

The runner is safe and should always be safe.

As a guy that has spent a little time playing middle infield I strongly disagree. Having a guy bear down on you while you're in a vulnerable position is very dangerous.

Yup, but his three HRs this post season have been absolutely huge game changers/savers. He's proven a lot of people wrong this far.

What is Izturis doing there?! That has to be one of the worst defensive plays in post-season history

Braincramp? He wanted to turn a magical double play.

Just take the out that's given to you.

He wouldn't be up to bat in the 12th if he didn't get that clutch hit in the 11th. Rodriguez is by far having his best post season ever.

Angels needed to win that game. Now they're in tough going back home just to get this thing back to New York.
