Gotta say...the Cards beat themselves as much as the Steelers won the game....ben was awesome at the end though....and Holmes with one of the best catches in SB history IMO.

That last play of the 1st half was about the worst piece of football in a big game I have ever witnessed.

Gotta feel bad for Fitzgerald....he is simply unbeleivable.

good game though.....as disappointing as the ending was.

Ugh happy with the outcome just wish the Steelers would have won by atleast 7. Inability to score touchdowns down in the red zone early in the game cost me some money.

Got to give credit to the Cards. Not a fan of Warner, but a pretty gutsy effort by him and that defence. Thought they had it after the Fitzgerald TD.

Good game all around.

some notes:
-Holmes was clutch in the last few minutes, made a name for himself.
-Harrison, good game/play but a a pathetic display when he got the penalty.
-Fitzgerlad, just WOW, can he run or what?
-Warner throw the ball buddy.
-Tomlin, what nerves, here you're team is blowing the lead yet still under control. good coach.

Thats all, Congrats to Steeler, but they still suck.

This guy will coach the Steelers until he doesn't want to anymore. He's an amazing guy. It's uncanny how they hire coaches. 3/3 in 4 decades. LMAO.

What was Waraner thinking with that pass to end the second quarter?

That was the turning point IMO. Put the Cards in a deep hole and changed the way they had to play the game. Granted they made that miracle comeback only to have the Steelers spoil it, still i wonderwhat would have happened.....

That Harrison was coming on the blitz with the rest of them.

It was a brilliant call by Lebeau.

I tend to agree. Still he should have looked for a safer outlet for the pass. At worst they would have ended the half tied as opposed to being down 10. I dunno.

Well, if Harrison goes it's an easy TD.

They played to Warner's strength and really baited him by throwing the blitz at him right there. He was waiting for that.

As Holmgren said in the halftime show though, they had 3 shots from there, and unless you see someone there wide wide open, you be very hesistant to throw one into a generally high traffic area like that.

Another Superbowl handed to the Steelers by the refs ( seattle anyone)

The Steelers played well and they deserve it(unfortunately)

But i definitely think that alot of the cards penalties were soft. And what was up with the fumble call in the 4th??

It was an incomplete pass, i don't see how the booth does not challenge!

Mind boggling

Best Super Bowl I've ever seen(and that goes back to "Wide right"). After years of watching the big game look like Florida vs. William & Mary in the 90's, it's such a treat to see back-to-back classics.

I still think the booth should've taken a closer look at that Warner fumble, I thought it looked like an incomplete pass. I was shocked when they went back and showed the Steelers lining up in the victory formation. I was totally expecting a booth challenge.

That was an awesome catch that the back Judge made at the end there. Amazing that he could get both feet in. Also, thought it was a great job by the ref to scramble to keep the play alive and get the ball to him.

Which ones?

The 15-yard penalty to Ike Taylor was as soft as any call that game and the holding call for the safety is often ignored as well.

The problem that the Cardinals had was that they continually took penalties that had to be called. The roughing the passer looked weak but was a textbook call that had been made all year, the rush the center is clear cut as can be in the rules, a facemask is a facemask no argument to made on that play and I don't think even a Cardinal fan can argue the repeated holds that Gandy took.

Where are the "soft" calls?

It looked pretty clear that his arm wasn't going forward. They could have reviewed it quickly in the booth and not needed to slow the game down to bother telling the ref. They "review" every play but don't need to stop the game to do so.

Best Super Bowl? Come on. The game was a one of the worst played games until the final 10 minutes when the defenses decided they were tired and got burned for a few plays.

Horribly played and horribly coached game. Arizona was too timid in the first half and showed nothing on offense. Pittsburgh was too timid in the second half and showed nothing in defense.

And the refereeing was suspect on both sides. That was not roughing the holder and that was not holding in the endzone. 20 penalties? Yikes.

Yes there was a memorable ending but it doesn't save the rest of the game. Thumbs down.
