I think those Rolling Stones songs will be fun. Glad these songs are being leaked out so we don't have to wait.
Finally some Def Leppard!

Wish they would release a patch that let you turn off songs within the game

Has anyone seen PS3 stand-alone guitars yet?

you can use the GHIII guitar for Rock Band on the 360, but i don't know about using the RB guitar for GHIII as i've never tried, don't care too much for that guitar

only works one way, so on the 360 guitar hero guitar works on everything, RB guitars only in RB. For ps3 your more screwed, as the guitars only work for their perspective games.

btw, 6 greatful dead songs out for next week.

So the foot pedal on my drums snapped yesterday. Hopefully EA actually covers it as warranty. UGH.

Same thing happened to me. EA covered the warranty. I had a new base pedal in about 3 weeks.

I'm guessing yours snapped near the bottom, as that's where apparently they all break. You can continue using it if you wrap a bunch of duct tape around it, it works just fine.

For the next base pedal you get, you may want to consider buying a steel plate off of ebay to put onto the base pedal. They cost around $18 including shipping and it's just a piece of aluminum that goes on top of the pedal. It will at least keep it from breaking on you next time.

Has anyone ordered any drum kit mods yet?

I just moved into a basement suite and am thinking about getting something to dampen the sound. You have to crank the music WAY up to even hear the drum track anyways. The reviews say that most mods rebound more like real drums too which is a bonus.

I was thinking about ordering these: http://www.bryanmentock.com/Bryan%20...ck%20Band.html

I wrapped rubber bands around my sticks and it has a better rebound and is quieter. I wanted to try some mods, but don't play them enough to spend money on them. Something to try that before you shell out cash.

My wife (annoyed by the noise) used her crafty abilities to mod my drums. She went to michaels and bought this colored foam that has adhesive on one side (about 1-3 cm thick), used a circle cutter and then stuck em to my drums. Much quieter, and they look pretty cool.

I think total the supplies cost about 7-10 dollars (she has a circle cutter already)

saw various posts about that on gaming forums. Glad to hear the foam pads are easy to find.

There were about 27 of these at the McKnight/Westwinds Superstore last night. The one I looked at was for the 360, I have no idea if any of those were for the PS3.

I see the SE of this for PS3 and Xbox360 at every store I go to these days that sells games. Surely anyone who wants one can find one now?

I resisted as long as I could - played the game at a friends house. Then bought the stand alone game to play with my GHIII guitar. But I broke down last night and bought the rest of the peripherals. I ordered the same drum mod as discussed a few posts above - has anyone tried the sturdier foot pedals?

Yes I got a Mega Pedal, it's a solid metal plate that replaces the plastic pedal completely. It works like a charm. Cost me $30, tad pricy but worth it. I'm content with using socks on my drums to quiet them.

I thought I saw a link to these pedals on Amazon in this thread the other day, but now I can't find them for the life of me. Help!

EDIT: Nevermind, found the link and placed an order. I might hold off on playing the drums until both mods arrive.
