I think the push was largely just an idiotic play by the Blues player that cost his team a goal.
That poster is very anti-tank. There is no point trying to have a reasonable conversation with him.

I think some people just can't see the long term picture. And don't understand maybe that the most talented players are drafted usually near the top of the draft. Or maybe don't have the patience for a rebuild. Either way, team tank and team win and sneak into playoffs are generally not going to agree on being happy with losses lol.

He had a good chance short handed, and his faceoff win almost resulted in Farabee putting one in the empty net in the 1st. He has been battling there actually, but those could just be my rose colored glasses.

Dude has a killer shot but does himself no favours in getting to the spots to unload it.

Effectively the opposite of what we’ve seen from Coronato these last few games. Coronato is busting his ass/battling for space to unload his rocket.

Ras has every reason to be checked out. Can't underestimate the power of sour-pussery in the room whether it's him or whoever.
Best we can hope is he keeps upping his value, if that's possible at this stage.

This team has been tanking for at least 18 months, so in that regard I am pro tank as I have always supported Conroy’s efforts to rebuild the team. Biggest sell off of assets in the shortest period of time in salary cap history.

They literally held onto 2 very desirable assets at the deadline last year, with Craig confirming he owed it to the team to give them a chance to push for a spot as a reason nobody was traded.

So I don’t agree with 18 month rebuild.

That was close, too bad Klapka couldn't get a stick on it.

If there's any truth to the rumour that he has some "red state" teams on his no-trade list and would rather stay in Canada, this is probably a big reason for it too.
Wow, forgot about that. I double down on my hillbilly Missouri reference.

Well show me a team that has traded more players for picks and prospects in a shorter period of time. Would love to know the second hypothetical asset too, Coleman?

A slight change due to circumstances which interrupted the rebuild that happened before and then continued to happen afterwards.

The choices a GM makes are not always in a linear path and they have to try and be flexible. Was it a mistake at the time? Maybe (depending on the deals available). But when it didn't work out they seem to have gone back to rebuild mode.

Vladar gets you a second easily last season.

I assume he is referring to Kadri because he or someone else on here mentioned we had a huge offer for him, but the team wasn't looking to trade him and didn't ask him to waive the NTC.
