Given the premium on young centres, I think the Flames would have to add.

Sillinger + 14

For

Andersson + 32

You think Pospisil on his own is worth a 1st round pick?

not trolling, just curious, do we think his low point totals are more to do with lack of playing time, etc? because his counting stats are not great.

I don't think he will ever be a big point producer.
But the Flames need long-term centres up and down the line-up. Long-term he slots in as a potential #3. But offensively this is probably what you are going to get - maybe he gets to 40 points.

I remember back at the draft that the flames were reportedly extremely high on Sillinger and he was likely their guy. Jackets took him 1 ahead and we got Coronato. In hindsight pretty happy the way that turned out

Nah I meant in the context of the package. If demand is there for Ras, maybe Flames can find a way to get two 1st round picks from CBJ by adding something.

Frost and Sillinger slot as long term Kadri and Backlund replacements. Maybe we can find the 1C with the picks (by dealing them or less likely by using them).

CLB makes sense in that Monny is there and the Gaudreaus. But yeah it definitely sounds like it's time for Anderssons departure. I'd wager it's done before Friday.

Only 22 years old, and is playing behind 3 other centres on the team in Monahan, Fantilli, and Johnson. I think with some more opportunity offensively he could be a great middle 6 centre with 60+ points seasonal averages.

45% faceoff winning %
45% SAT as well (one of the lowest on the team)

seems like that is quite optimistic of you

Sillinger would be a nice piece.

Kadri
Frost
Sillinger
Backlund

Would give us great depth at C, though some similar caliber players and no real firm 2nd line C. I wonder in the event of Sillinger being added if Frost could be flipped as part of a package for Rossi?

Kadri/Rossi/Sillinger/Backlund would be a huge upgrade up the middle as a whole

I would be more interested in Sillinger than Rossi. And he would likely be cheaper to acquire, as well as cheaper to sign.

Good size (6'1", 202 lbs), good all around game.

Create the 2021 line: Stromgren - Sillinger - Coronato

(though obviously Zary would be perfect on the left side there)
