this should work well for mounting my phone on the dinner tray while flying
I have a couple of those holders, they work well. On a 737 (and others) you can attach it to the magazine pocket for additional height/no interference with the tray. Drwamliners have a padded top of the pocket so you need to go the tray route on those.

I echo Cheese's comments, a huge thanks for surferguy for organizing again this year! And thank you to my not so secret Santa, Lumby Lager for the generosity, creativity and adventure he sent me on this year! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and will have a fantastic 2025!

I’m more than happy that you’ve enjoyed the CPSS again this year! It’s my pleasure to “host”. If it brings some people some joy in their holiday season than I’ve done my job!

I’d like to take a moment to say thanks to my Santa for the really neat gift. They were a bit nervous backstage about how it may go over and I’ll say that I really like the idea! I’m not sure I’m ready to unleash it upon both of my kids just yet but eventually it’ll find its way into our regular camping rituals. The older boy will for sure get his this coming summer!

The package included a really nice card with a handwritten note.

I was graced with two small carving knives, one for each of my boys, as well as a small ideas book for how to use them. I had to laugh as when I opened the package containing the knife out fell two band aids! lol, the company knows their target demographic and the likely results!

Thank you Wireframe, this was avery tthoughtful gift and I absolutely love it!

Great to have you join the exchange this year!

I would like to give a big thank you to surferguy for providing us the chance for doing this again!! You are the best!!!

My secret Santa hit it out of the park as usual this year!

Super excited for the camping season to start so I can use my new steak spice and smoked sea salt from The Silk Road spice Merchant (love that place).

The new folding travel crib board is beautiful and smaller than our current one for camping (huge bonus).

The Lord of the Rings cards are a massive hit with Mrs Lager as we are both big geeks!

Keeping with this year’s whiskey tradition The Taber corn whiskey from Bridgeland Distillery is fantastic!

Merry Christmas everyone!

A picture of the crib board using the whiskey as a scale, I think I finally figured out how to post pictures

I see I failed at posting a picture again, I do need to figure that out at some point.

I think I almost figured it out LOL!

I love that it comes with band-aids.

Hey Children! Here are some sharp wood-working implements! Aaaand some slap-dash first-aid.

I mean...if its going to be wood-working you'll need tweezers and disinfectant way before you get to the band-aid stage!

Well a lot of us grew up with woodcarving and chemistry sets, not to mention the original lawn darts. Just remember, if it doesn't kill them then it makes them stronger ....

At least that's what we were told!

And with that, Merry X-Mas everyone! And, of course, thanks to surferguy who has unknowingly created a whiskey, bourbon & wine exchange system.

Pretty sure, not one of us is complaining!!!

Thank you to my secret Santa, edslunch. I love the Japanese saws and I can't wait to try them once I get my tools unpacked (I moved houses recently).

Spoiler for size

Don’t forget wood burning kits!

It kinda has become a liquor exchange

Anyone that didn’t join up this year and are considering it, my employer is responsible for liquor and cannabis distribution, I am literally a professional enabler! Join up next year.

Well that was a nice treat to get home to. Thanks for the super cozy blanket and movie passes — just what I wanted. Good stuff. It's a Christmas miracle!

If I knew you were at work - I could have dropped it off there, and saved myself 20 minutes each way of driving!

So now you're going to take NadalFan out to the movies? I think they're planning on a 'Dude Where's my Car 2'

You are more than welcome! Hopefully you can use the extra wood bits to make something neat in your own shop! Merry Christmas!
