I like Pelletiers game. His back check is his best attribute. His positioning away from the puck is great as well. Trouble is he doesn't dominate 50/50 pucks. If he can get some muscle he'd be a more complete middle six player.

Klapka is a player you notice. I wish he were more patient with the puck. I know he's played well, but I am not sure he will shine when the games get more structured and contested. He likes low percentage plays a little too much.

Honzek looks amazing. What else can be said. I think he will start in the AHL by virtue of roster management, but will be in the NHL as soon as space is made.

Coronato plays with swagger I hope he can develop consistency.

Morton plays well. I've liked his game. He is confident with the puck. I wonder how he fits

Soloyov is a player. I think he's earned a spot. He is strong on the puck and makes a good first pass.

Barrie is a loose cannon. I don't love his puck management. But two points is two points.

Pachal is only going to get better. Really like his game.

Kuzmenko dancing around in OT.

Just a lazy play before by Weegar and Kadri almost cost us.

Anyone know where the Oilers order their preseason banners from?

It was a terrible pass you can't really blame Kadri

I think there is still an interesting battle in the forward ranks. I think the 7 D are set, Weegar, Andersson, Miromanov, Bean, Bahl, Barrie, and Pachal. I would be astonished if it were anything else. All three goalies have been good, another interesting battle there. I think it will likely be Vladar/Wolf but Cooley has shown well. Things are bright for the future.

Pp's 6 to 1 for the Kraken. Yup, sounds about right. Well done, Flames.

I'd rather they just give Solovyov a real look instead of signing Barrie TBH

What happened to Backlund? We could be starting the season with 1 natural center lol.
