Parekh is the type of player you wish you could send to the AHL this year instead of back to Saginaw.

Lots of skill, but he's pretty passive out there and nonchalent has been thrown around a lot as a word that I think fits. Defensively he needs to build some muscle, and he could gain from an increased pace of play that I'm not sure he gets in the OHL. He's a fresh 18 year old kid so limiting expectations in his first preseason but I think needs some seasoning and wish we had options other than NHL or OHL. I bet he stays until end of training camp and plays in most preseason games for experience and is among final cuts.
