Doesn't really work for a fan chant though? To me it comes across as a plain lack of effort to come up with something fans can rally behind and identify with. When you look at the Flames, their promo/media involves flames. It's a major marketing opportunity missed. Here's our mascot. It's a hockey!

It's been half a year and their name already feels more established than the Kraken or Golden Nights. I also like the basic logo.

Well to be fair the Flames mascot is a dog.
A team name does not define a mascot, and the generic name opens up the door for a really fun 3rd jersey based off a mascot.

Should have been Utah Saints or Utah Battalion. Honestly, out of the remaining names the best one is just Utah Hockey Club. I kind of hope it becomes permanent.

Utah HC just feels too soccer'ey to me.
I'm not in love with the name itself, but together, Utah Yetis just rolls off the tongue well. I know it's been dropped, but I have a feeling they could get around it if they really wanted to.
