Yeah people got mad when you came into a GT 5 mins into a game to say the game was over and laughed at you when the Flames pulled it out. It's a game it supposed to be fun. Fan, its short for fanatic

Others on this board know way more about hockey than I do, and I'm happy to listen. I share what I observe and notice and I don't #### on others for having an opinion opposite of mine, just so long as it's grounded in facts. Many times there are opinions not grounded in fact and I call that out for what it is.
I sure as #### don't try to settle internet scores with posters over comments said 1-3 seasons ago, but you do you. You complain about "wall of shame", but you're doing the same thing in reverse. How's that for irony?

Granted, I find the general vibe mirrors our record. I also don’t understand why anyone would not only follow the team but continue to post on a flames fan forum if they hate the team.

I don’t need to get in back and forths with everyone. There’s a reason certain ppl are getting defensive.
End of the day, my point is myself and many others got lambasted over the years for being negative.
Wall of shame was for people who quit on a Flames game during that nights game thread that they ended up winning...most were happy to end up there considering they were Flames fans and the Flames won.
If we are going back years we will have pages of "shame on everyone" here

People need to realize Sutter wasn't fired because he was a bad coach, he's still a good defensive coach (and his offensive system is boring and a bit flawed but can work)
He was fired because half the team wanted to leave with him as coach, a year after Gaudreau and Tkachuk already left, and you couldn't have that as the org.
Even if Sutter would have stayed the players that he'd have success with would want out, and then you're stuck in a spot where you can't bottom out with him as coach and aren't going to have the talent to win.
At least now they might bottom out.
The guys we all wish would leave threatened that they would leave?

2) I think the whole situation is super comical. Its full of irony, willful blindness and delusion within the front office and the dressing room. And just watching the wheels come off like this - so hard and so quickly - is absolutely hilarious. Sad for us as fans. But also I'm literally dying from how funny this is lmao. And every time I post about Sutter or Huby or Kadri, I'm literally dying lmao. But if it's making the board toxic and upsetting some posters who aren't ready to make light of the situation, I can stop for a while. It wasn't my intent.
Please, for the love of sanity, let the Huska thing die.
So it's ok for everyone to continually bitch over and over about the same players they don't like but the coach is out of bounds? F that, if people can continually bitch about Huberdeau and Kadri over and over I can bitch about our useless coach too.

Instead of rebuilding after Gaudreau and Tkachuk, we screw our salary cap for the next 7 years with 2 players past their prime, it's going to be a long painful season
Had fun at the game. Great atmosphere and a big crowd. Nice to see so many fellow Flames fans! The weather was decent and Rural Alberta Advantage were great!
Obviously not much needs to be said about the game. What really stood out to me was how gutless and soft the Flames are. The Oilers pushed them around all night. Kane in particular was nailing our d-men on the forecheck and no one did anything. We are butter soft.
I hope the losing and negativity isn’t going to wreck our few good prospects. Should we send Coronado to the Wranglers just to get into a more positive environment? Can’t be a great dressing room to be in right now.
