Is it me or does Ekblad seem to be made of glass? Seems to always be injured at some point. Great player overall but seems to get injured often.

I have watched most of this game. I have heard Tkachuk's name once. Noticed Benny a lot.

There's more Bruins fans than Panthers fans at this game.

This atmosphere is awful. And that was before Boston extended its lead.

Haha funny joke.

Panther player on his knees and Bruin player does not let up. Please Panthers give these guys what they deserve.

Tkachuk disappeared in a playoff game again.

Whole team was ####e for the first 40. Boston came in with a defense-first mindset, but the Panthers just had no jam or desire until halfway through the 3rd when the game was already over.

Still, nice to see their desire came back even though the game looked hopeless. They were down to 3 defensemen with both Ekblad and Mahura injured, and Montour given a misconduct. Ran with an empty net and 6 forwards for most of the final 6 minutes.

...It did not...

Still, managed to look alive late and give the Bruins something to think about heading to the next game. I just can't get past how bad they were through 40 minutes. Just not ready to play tonight.

Missed the game after it was 2-0 for the Bruins. But at least at that point it was pretty brutal effort by the Panthers. Also Barkov again totally MIA, this guy lacks a playoff gear big time.

It's amazing the Bruins can be missing two of their best players and still be that deep

Then you throw in stuff like this:

For all the (deserved) heat Sutter gets about roster and line decisions, to me his most egregious mistake was Tkachuk not getting the C.

This 100% is what I see as being the deal breaker with Calgary. Tkachuk was on a path to being a captain, but Calgary blocked it so he had to go somewhere where they let him achieve his potential. The preference for veterans is our undoing.

Only caught the end of the game and wondered why Bob was in. Now saw highlights. In my limited view of the series, Lyon is reminding me of 22/23 markstrom... makes an amazing run of difficult saves then lets in some bad ones.

His lack of foot speed is an issue.

Good move to not give the C to a guy whose every move was designed to get him out of town as quickly as possible.

Lyon was definitely channeling Markstrom in that game. That first goal especially was straight out of the Markstrom play book this season, and the Bruins are just too good for the Panthers to have a chance against if they're giving up free goals to them. That said, their offense was reminiscent of the Flames too for most of the game. It was a lot of perimeter play and weak shots. Least entertaining game of the series so far, but hopefully they come back next game and can make this get to at least six games.
