Huff needs to come back down and take over the play calling again.

Complete character win. Hand it to the Stamps on their battle level, especially with losing their top 2 running backs.

I wasn't crazy with Dave's playcalling today, but at the end of the way it worked, and the defense delivered a win.

The worst play call of the day was a HUGE TSN turning point.

3rd and 2 at the Stamps 20, up 21 and you call a QB sneak??!!! with 2 yards to go?? lol

I left early to take my father-in-law (it's his 96th birthday) out to dinner and returned to see El Matador kick the tying FG and then the Stamps win it in OT. I'm going to have to watch the replay later tonight lol.

What a win! Hate lots of the play calls by Dickenson, (like usual).
Hopefully Carey and Logan are not that banged up.

That was a heck of win, especially since the Stamps were out of running backs for most of the 4th quarter. A good reminder that in a wind-affected game, you need to play all 4 quarters.

TSN was too busy with hof interviews to do any analysis on the Adeleke hit on Logan, but isn't there an argument for a penalty there? High hit, lots of head contact on a defenseless receiver?

Thought the Stamps did well to overcome that, especially getting the similarly debatable major foul go against them (horse collar tackle) the following drive.

Dan Clark looks like he broke his ankle/leg. Would be a huge loss for Saskatchewan if he's out long-term.

Elks travel down Highway 2 to take on the Stamps next Saturday night. This Edmonton team is well, you know, no good.

Heck of a win, need those early in the season when guys are still figuring things out. Great play by Titus Wall on the strip-six to tie it.

Also had a random thought: is Jamar Wall now an option to re-sign in Calgary? There is no longer a requirement to be vaccinated for air travel in Canada; not sure if that is the (only?) reason he remains unsigned though… I didn’t hear anything suggesting he is formally retiring.

Just re-watched the 2nd half. Bonkers. And to be fair Bo was really good. Made some very tight window throws with ease...though he still is missing deep.

The defense certainly stepped up as well...just a complete 180 from the first half. The young guys really figured it out and started balling.

Also noticed how few flags were thrown so i went and looked...only 8 assessed penalties combined in a 60+ minute game. Great job in that respect.

Huge huge win for the club with every other West team (other than the EE's) undefeated.

Huff needs to have a talk with Dickinson about some of those play calls. Dave’s a great coach but his offensive play calling has been suspect for some time now. On 2nd and short he always makes things more difficult than it has to be. He either calls telegraphed run plays that the defense is sitting on or goes totally off the map with a low percentage play call. Need to play the odds better.

Victor Cui has some work to do in Edmonton - Of course, we are approaching 1000 days since Edmonton last recorded a home victory.
