Doesn't take much to put some self doubt in Oilers room so that goal was vital. If this game gets tied up, look out.

Patience in the third for the Kings, Oilers will try and lock it down like Dallas but they are illequipped to do that, player wise, strategy wise and execution wise.

IMO they messed up Talbot (he fell apart when the Oilers chose Koskinen over him) who's prone to some mental gymnastics when he overthinks things, by bringing in MAF. I don't liken this game to Dallas Game 6 though..he didn't fall apart as much as the tem ddi (and Ward sat on a timeout). Rittich lost the Flames that game in with an act we've since seen, not being able to stop a beach ball.

Minnesota spent at the deadline too, didn't they?

Hope the Blues and Avs slug it out for at least 6 games.

yeah I haven't watched much of the game, just tuned in -- that did look like a dive- fair enough, but when Smith did it in game (?2?) they were lauding him as some sort of genius (and Ron saying he needed to do it because the play could have broken his neck)
