I understand people saying "good lord, how can a judge possibly side with Djokovic here" but the actual rationale for kicking him out of the country is that his presence in the country will encourage anti-vaccine sentiment... which... isn't really the most convincing thing in the world. There are so many better ways to frame the minister's decision.

Just a reminder that 97 of the top 100 guys on the ATP tour are fully vaccinated. Tennys Sandgren is a right wing Trump supporter and an anti-vaxxer, but at least he decided to stay at home and skip the tourney (and this is a guy who has made two good runs at the Aussie Open). I realize Novak is not the only one to blame here, but at the same time, he knew the requirements to enter Australia without any issues.
