#### me.
I've seen Spencer Knight make two far better saves tonight than that Smith one. He got lucky. End of story.

I've noticed that. Sutter Effect.
Under every other coach they've looked rusty and discombobulated coming off of breaks.
I'm really amazed at DS' ability to continue to extract intensity from a group that could easily have written themselves and their season off a while ago.

I’m seeing some Jack Michaels love on Twitter. Please tell me I’m not insane because I think the guy is an absolute doofus.

No ####. Lindholm made him look good.

Shot into his glove, my grandmother would have made that save. She wouldn't have snowconed the puck like Smith did though on account of her arthritis.

Its a good save but not the greatest save of the night let alone the year
That penalty call is a joke...Dube has nowhere to go, Smith is the one out of position

Glad I put the fan 960 and muted the tv. Can't stand the oilers broadcast. Doing the same on Saturday so I don't need to listen to Cassie Campbell gush all over McDufus

I so want the grease to hand old man Smith an extension. He always seems to follow a good year with one or two horrible ones, and at almost 39 he's surely going to be dreadful next year and it'll be hilarious. Please keep talking him up, Oiler media.

Canucks losing again. Hopefully they eliminate themselves quickly.
All we have to do is keep pace with Montreal (hang within 4-6), and then use the Canuck series at the end to vault ourselves in.

Ducking in to see what ch'all are talking about.
Ritchie does everything right as a player, but has hands of absolute stone. NHLer for sure, but should live on the bottom six.
Dube is struggling to find his role under Sutter. Dube is talented and has drive, and Sutter is a good coach, so I'd put the rest of the season down as instructional, and expect big things out of him next year.
Monahan doesn't shoot except from the slot. There are injuries and impingements in the wrist that can't really get worse through use, and I'm starting to think that he will address something in the offseason. He has been surprisingly great defensively, noticeable this game.
Nestorov is a plug and play guy on defense, but he has the opposite decision making strategy than Stone. Stone is a rock defensively. Great six-seven guy, and I would re-sign.
Chatter about Markstrom not being a great goalie is nonsense. Don't know where that is coming from.
Tkachuk with nice crisp passes when his head is up. Also nice crisp passes to nowhere when his head is down.
Anyone else a topic of conversation?

He's better then Quinn, and has an interesting call..that is, until some miid chance or decent play from the Oilers turns into the greatest play of the night. And opponents goal calls are announced similar to Quinn, with the same enthusiasm of getting a filling in ones tooth.

Flames need a couple finishers...they control the play almost every game they just need so many chances to score most nights

Personally I love that. I enjoy the twinge of disappointment in the opposition team announcers voice when we score. It’s eminently satisfying.
The Avalanche guy was the best.

Smith knew exactly what he was doing. You're right, there was nowhere for Dube to go because Smith stretched out to block the entire back of the net.
Better not make that a habit, one of those innocent collision hits is going to result in him twisting a knee or worse.

And the thing is, the Oilers probably have better forward depth.
Calgary has Ritchie *and* Robinson in the lineup. At the same time.

They've got Nurse up for the Norris and now Smith for the Vezina. Between that and the wonder twins up front, the oilers are likely going to sweep the individual awards this year

Lindholm is basically the only one. In spite of him putting that shot right into Smith’s glove
