Hub cities in Kamloops and Kelowna starting March 26. Once the Blazers start their training camp, Zary will have to be returned, same as Wolf was.

Hopefully Ruzicka is for real. We could really use a big bodied center with skill like that (who couldn't?). Is his skating getting any better?

He doesn't set the pace on his line but he's more than capable of keeping up. I will be very interested to see how his footspeed translates to the NHL, though.

Really exciting to see Zary play like that, especially at his age. On his assist, he hounds the puck carrier until he gets the puck, goes the other way, looks to see that his linemate is outside the O zone, then goes to the net, makes a great pass. Young guys that age aren't usually that good in a pro league.

Team speed and playing fast does seem to be topic du jour for the Flames. I do wish we had more speed ready to join the big league club. I don't think it's the club's biggest problem, but it is a reality.
I haven't watched these games Scorp, what's your assessment of how quickly the Heat play?

If Zary still has a couple more weeks before the Blazers start their camp, it might be Ruzicka who needs to be replaced in Stockton first. You have to think he's getting serious consideration for a call-up.
