Tiafoe is melting down including f-bombs due to the umpire giving him multiple time violation warnings and losing his first serve.

Djoker wins it in four sets, when he looked down and out, he found the necessary reserves.

There's a lumberjack match going on at 1573 Arena. Two big Yanks going at it in what looks to be two opponents trying to figure out how to hold a racket and hit a ball.

Kyrgios saves two match points and prevails over the young French kid Ugo Humbert in five sets. Up next in round 3, Dominic Thiem.

The Greeks will be out in full force today for the Kokkinakis - Tsitsipas tussle...
/Yes, Kokkinakis is Australian, but he is of Greek ancestry.

Watching Rublev - Monteiro and if you didn't know the set score, you'd think Rublev was down two sets instead of two sets to the good with all the moaning and groaning he's doing.

Yeah, saw that match too. Monteiro was coming into the AO in fine form having made the quarterfinals in a tuneup event And he did well to make Rublev earn that win. If it wasn't for some big plays by Rublev and a few other untimely Montiero UEs on the big points, that match would've gone at least 4.
I love seeing Rublev go ape$hit when the smallest of things don't go his way. He's damn good, but man does he ever act like a spoiled child on the court.

Also, we will have a new women's champion this year as Kanepi has eliminated Kenin in straight sets.

One to watch on the women's side is Jennifer Brady. Shes just crushing the ball and her draw is open now with Azarenka and Konta out. She might not see a seed until the quarters.

One up and one down as far as men's doubles are concerned. Felix/Hurkacz were eliminated by the Skupski brothers, but Vasek and Shapo have advanced to round 2.

Well, I was going to retire, but Kokkinakis won the 4th set tie-breaker so looks like I'm staying up to see who wins this struggle.
