This is what happens when you have a badly built entitled hockey club that think that Conna and Leonski got this.
Bingo talked about the Oilers being in trouble after the ex game against Calgary, and that nightmare is coming through.
They looked lazy and slow and made bad decisions all over the ice. Connor looked the same with his soft give away.
In a short series this is deadly, and awesome, and I hope the Hawks pour it on.

The thing is, sure 1st overalls are awesome and all, but they also completely torch your Cap eventually and then you wind up with exactly what the Oilers already have....a few top-end guys surrounded by whole lot of garbage. They're a very thin team.

Smith is, and always was, such an unlikable goalie. He was always an Oiler.
He sucked here, and he didn't put on some magical top tier performance against the Avs. He was just okay, which in comparison to our normal goaltending (from him and others) looked stellar.
