I had to chuckle earlier in the game when Cassie talked about how the Flames practiced the powerplay at the morning skate and did not score any goals and she said “it is like golf, you do not want to use your good shots on the range before you start your round”. There is not a single professional golfer who thinks that way. Rank amateurs (like the Flames powerplay) may think that way at the range, but not professional golfers.

His crashing to the net and then his positioning in front of the net right after it directly led to the PP.
I stick to the fact that the Flames don't crash the net enough - Bennett did it, and should continue to do it because perimeter play won't get it done when games are tight.

Eat bread with a terrible shift. First a terrible entrance on the PP which lead to a 2 on 1 for Det that Hanfin had to clear up and ends it with a penalty.

If this Ray Edwards is indeed in charge of the Flames powerplay, just fire him now. It is a utter disaster!!

Mangiapane with a bad pass on the PP zone entry and then bad penalty. Not his finest shift.

I don't disagree about crashing the net. But he basically stickhandled to the goalie’s pad.
The penalty I maintain had nothing to do with the play. It was well after, the puck was going the other way and Bennett got cross checked for no particular reason.

Yes, Bennett likes to shoot, always wants to be the scorer, a tad selfish still.
