Sockeyes would be a great name. Even has a double meaning hockey wise. It’s fantastic. Kraken is... kinda goofy. But also kinda cool.

Stating the obvious completely but Sockeyes seems to be the winner. Meh to that. And if the past website was accurate and teal and red were the colours, meh again. The NHL needs to simplify the colour combos on some of these uniforms. No need to have the tacky rainbow of colours on the uniform. 3 colours max seems most appropriate.

Still think the Seattle Grunge with a cool music inspired logo would have been awesome while celebrating an entire genre of music known to have originated popularity in the Pacific Northwest state of Washington and obviously Seattle being the main city. I don’t hate the Kraken but really like the idea of Seattle Grunge!

I like the name Seattle Sockeyes but it feels a little MLBish to me.. I don't know why.
It will probably be Kraken which is not too bad. Marketing it to kids and all the merch you can make with it just makes more sense.
