The fact that it happened in the east time zone when the entire so called hockey world could watch,, and against the Leafs, has made the social media wet their pants over it.
It was a very good push off stride which surprised the defenseman as to how fast it pushed McDavid past him and alone vs the goalie. Everything else was a standard good goal with good hands by a skilled player.
