It kind of reminds me of Bo Levi Mitchell and not having his mind right due to the cold of the West semi-final, I think the air quality totally got Denis in a bad frame of mind going into today's match.

Denis gets Denis in a bad frame of mind. He just is often unprepared mentally.

Sloane one and done at the Aussie Open. Won the first set but dropped the next two.

Honestly that's a pretty solid call from Girly. I know Sloane had a terrible end to last season but I wouldn't have guessed she'd plummet this hard.

The way my sports weekend went I'm so glad Nadal doesn't play until tonight or else I fully expect he would have lost.

Raonic looking very good right now, I just want him to be healthy in 2020 and he will re-join the top 20.

with the Flames sputtering into the break and nothing else to do in the FOI forum but weep bitter tears, the timing on AO's start was exactly what the doctor ordered. as long as you like tennis and Shapovalov isn't your favorite player, that is.

Honestly I think part of the reason why I have loved watching tennis and Nadal specifically is because he is one genuinely of the greatest to ever play. Being a Flames and a Titans fan is hard but year after year I can always count on at least one big title from Nadal and watching him climb up the GOAT list has been a treat. Early on I took to him and he became my guy after Sampras retired, because Federer was just so dominate and he won so easily I had to be contrarian and chose someone else. I watched this 18 year old kid stand up to this tennis master and he was really the only player to really push Federer.

Fognini comes all the way back and wins in a 5th set tiebreak.
