Anyone remember #neverquit ? Not so long ago we could tell ourselves that 1 goal down going into the third was a ‘we got them just where we want them’ scenario... such a weird season so far, still don’t believe it can continue to be this bad. Listened on the Fan for the Blues game, Lou was struggling to believe what he was seeing! Personally I am still trying to support this team, but it ain’t easy. No point in making our own place toxic.

Lucic flat out sucks as a hockey player. No, just because he is big does not mean he should be on the PP...never mind the top PP. Net front guys need good hands as much as the ability to stand there, he has no hands any longer. They need to skate as well to get to loose pucks, something that left his tool box long ago. I too at least thought his presence would help the club, but it has made zero difference.
He doesn't score, he doesn't prevent, he cannot skate, he cant fight without getting suspended...but you just keep on acting like he is some sort of cog on this team. At best he waddles about for 13 minutes a night and doesnt cost the team anything but money and cap space.
So weird.

I’m guessing your beliefs about Lucic before he was acquired now prevent you from objectively analyzing him and his play. Lucic has been solid for me based on my expectations of him.
Lucic-Ryan-Dube has been the best line lately and you’re whining about Lucic.
Lucic ain’t the problem. Your rant is wildly misplaced.

I’m worried that this kind of ‘play’ in front of him could destroy Rittich’s game.

What an effort to get back into coverage by 23. The first line’s work ethic this month has been shocking.

Sure Lucic isn’t *precisely* the problem, the dumb people who brought him in and then subsequently felt he belongs on the power play are the real root of the problem. And enabling fans are part of the reason this mediocre, or worse really, franchise continues to be that.

Turned it off after the Flyers scored. A 1 goal lead is insurmountable for this Flames team. And only 11 shots on goal through 2 periods?? WTF is wrong with these guys?
I know Treliving said that he wouldn't make any changes (particularly the coaches), but one has to think that a major shake-up is inevitable if this continues much longer.

Biggest concern with Rittich's game, is the amount of minutes he has played...
Flames will need to play their backup very soon....

We are marinating in a GMs desire to see these players squirm as they are on their own. No coaching change is coming, no trades until they are out of it. No get out of jail free cards either.

Lucic is tied for the points lead over the last two weeks

I'm really losing any faith I have in treliving as someone else said he seems like the king of almost getting something done
