Now Melker Karlsson shows his lack of intelligence slashing Holden's stick in half. God do the Sharks ever have a few brainless players.

Weird that they were focusing on “reasonable” rather than “immediate” - think they read it all wrong IMHO.

I wouldn’t call it good, it was a whole intermission about McDavid and a nothing play. It was a cut and dry play that wasn’t controversial at all. He could have taken a swipe at the puck at most and then go to the bench or put his helmet on.

Exactly. The key word was immediate. And with that, it is completely obvious that he couldn't have skated over to the defenseman to try and defend him.

Big fan of Elliott, but he was brutal on that one

Why are Draisaitl and McDavid on the pk too? Has McDavid left the ice? It’s the first game tippet...

FFS. Tiresome
It was maybe a suitable question in his first season, maybe the second when he really caught on in the league. Of course not for as frequently as they were using it.

But several seasons later?

I have no memory of Horcoff being the Oilers captain. No wonder they were a garbage fire then (still are, but they were then too).

And yet Horcoff would be the 4th best forward on this Oilers team LOL

Pettersson has to have the quickest release in the NHL. Very jealous about him

Oh, I remember the era, I just couldn't have told you who their captain was at the time.

Two iffy plays by Smith, next one might be fatal as the Canucks start to anticipate.

Hey now, he's a good 'ole Kootenay boy from Castlegar. Be nice.
