Gillies needs a fresh opportunity with another organization. The Flames are going to have to eat some of that $750,000 one-way salary.

Again, Lucic doesn't have "quickness" meaning he doesn't have a great first step, but his power skating is just fine. A few strides and he's up to speed with anyone else in the play.

Pospisil - Ruzicka - Rinaldo line has been physical and looked good.
Yelesin started well, but had a couple mistakes
Gillies has looked really shaky
Quine has looked good and had a nice goal.
Dube has looked decent
I've noticed Froese for good reasons a few times.
