Isn’t too many men the bench minor?

Box score shows hooking and too many.

Flames need to slow it down and play their game. They are currently just watching mckinnon skate in circles and trying to defend. Cmon wake the #### up

I noticed this too. Would be nice to see more standing up at the line or dictating the speed of their entries a bit more and slow them down, allow our forwards to gain on them if they can.

MacKinnon should never be open when the Flames have the puck.

I mean seriously never.

This non-existent gap control and backing into their own end is not a recipe for success.

Better get skating soon or this one will be a long road back.

Gaudreau looks so small in the playoffs - a couple of body checks and he's neutralized

Based on this board I think we should all just panic. That’ll be a reasonable response

Was really hoping the top line would show up for the playoffs. So far looking the same as they have since the all-star break.

Might be time to consider trading one of Monahan/Gaudreau if they fizzle out in the first round. Just way too complacent.

No it was definitely a hooking call on Fantenberg and then a bench minor for too many men. Its listed as such on nhl.com

That MacKinnon created by drawing a penalty on a solo rush by being, again, really good at this hockey stuff. You can whine about the refs all you like, but he got himself in a position to get that call by beating a guy to the outside on a bad matchup. The guy is just on fire right now. If they were playing anyone but the Flames it would be awe-inspiring, rather than anxiety-inducing.

The thing is, after the goal they let Cale Makar break it out and he looked almost as fast as MacKinnon.

Hahaha, coming back? It's a tied series. It's also game 3. There would be plenty of time even if it weren't - as noted - a tied series. There's no coming back necessary.

The Avs do have a lot of jump so far though. It'll settle down.

How has he been outcoached? Bednar just overplays Mackinnon, that’s not great coaching.

The too many men was legit. It was as MacKinnon entered the zone, a mess at the bench trying to chase him.

The one handed hook on the stick was a complete joke.

Good to see it’s going to be the MacKinnon and Makar circle jerk tonight.
