I noticed this too. Would be nice to see more standing up at the line or dictating the speed of their entries a bit more and slow them down, allow our forwards to gain on them if they can.

Was really hoping the top line would show up for the playoffs. So far looking the same as they have since the all-star break.

Might be time to consider trading one of Monahan/Gaudreau if they fizzle out in the first round. Just way too complacent.

That MacKinnon created by drawing a penalty on a solo rush by being, again, really good at this hockey stuff. You can whine about the refs all you like, but he got himself in a position to get that call by beating a guy to the outside on a bad matchup. The guy is just on fire right now. If they were playing anyone but the Flames it would be awe-inspiring, rather than anxiety-inducing.

The thing is, after the goal they let Cale Makar break it out and he looked almost as fast as MacKinnon.

The too many men was legit. It was as MacKinnon entered the zone, a mess at the bench trying to chase him.

The one handed hook on the stick was a complete joke.
