King takes a slight lead in Iowa (48.8% to 48.7), and my faith in humanity once again diminishes.

Pelosi is done. She will not get the vote from the house. Who is next? I’m not sure.

He’s up by 40 votes with 69% of the vote in. I think Story County and Boone County (which is where you would find Iowa State University students and faculty) are mostly in, so King is likely going to pull ahead further now unfortunately.
It may restore your faith in humanity slightly to know that for this race to be close at all a lot of voters who normally vote Republican are voting Democrat instead. Just might not be quite enough. This is a very rural district.

I'll be very surprised if she's not the Speaker. Most of the various voting factions within the party will support her.

Well I’d be very surprised if she is so our votes cancel each other’s out.
The Dems need to get her out, she’s a Hillary 2.0.

.
The caucus will vote her in, there is no doubt about that, however she said it won't be for a long time so clearly she sees the time for change.
Panel tonight mentioned Adam Schiff as a top candidate, that would be excellent.

So why delay things. She should step aside. Rip the bandaid off and start the process for real leadership heading into 2020.

Steve King is projected to win in IA-4.
And let that be a lesson to you, kids. It’s totally fine to be a racist scum bag who buddies up to white supremacists, as long as you join the right party. :/

And run in the right district. But I imagine the GOP secretly wishes he lost, he's only going to continue causing them headaches.

This says a lot about the people voting in this district. Party over Country.

Remind me to never move to the district that King won. I would lose all hope in humanity.

This is likely true.
But let’s also not minimize what this means overall, in case we get any more “hot takes” about how this night is somehow a win for Trump. An election where the Democrat comes within a hair’s breadth of winning IA-4 is a wave election, make no mistake about it. The Democrats are destroying the Republicans on the congressional ballot overall, notwithstanding some not-awesome results in the Senate. It is a bigger margin than any of the last few “wave” elections in terms of raw votes. If this was a referendum on Trump, he lost. Big time.
Which of course means he will declare victory tomorrow, because of course he will. But let’s be clear: if 2020 looks like tonight, then he is a one term President.

So there’s totally going to be legal action in Georgia, how does it work? Is Kemp in charge of all the legislation or is it passed off cause he should recuse himself?

Apparently Nevada won’t start releasing results until everyone has voted (which I actually think is very sensible). People are still in line to vote in Washoe County.
And apparently Arizona is going to be very close in the Senate race between McSally and Synema.
