Dube, Zavgorodniy, Phillips, Ruzicka all made some great plays tonight, especially Dube and Zavgorodniy. Alongside Mangiapane and Foo, that's six forward prospects I am excited about.
Pollock and Gawdin both produced offence as well, but I feel like they don't have the speed.
Always like seeing some production from late picks (Little Z, Joly, Ruzicka, Phillips).
Ruzicka just needs to click that while he has talent, it isn't enough to overcome mediocre efforts. He seems to be either REALLY good or invisible. Needs to find conssitency
But that's why guys like him are available in the later rounds. You take your swings and hope those elements fall into place.
I like the fact that generally the Flames are taking more home run swings in the later rounds. You take enough of those and one or two will pay off but those can be franchise altering picks (like Johnny)

Oilers have 2 prospects, Yamamoto and Bouchard. They should be embarrassed as an organization.
Yamamoto has looked like hot trash in these two games. He has decent anticipation, but the rest of his game has looked errr underwhelming.
He was the great hope for the Oilers to be McDavid's winger this year, but man unless he steps it up in camp he just looks like a little guy that doesn't do much well.

First time I’ve seen Dube play a game from start to finish and boy did he not disappoint. Dillon looks like an absolute machine out there. He plays a pro game, strong on his skates, excellent first step, dynamic offensive skills, hockey sense and leadership to boot? He’s 100% a blue chip prospect.
Also, really glad to see Tyler Parsons perform the way he did after such a tough first pro season. Guy is incredibly athletic and is extremely fun to watch. You really get a sense of confidence when he’s in net that a good starting goaltender gives you.
