Haven't watched a Flames game in 2-3 weeks. As I find our hockey is just boring, and don't expect us to make the playoffs. Decided I'd sit down and watch this one, bad decision.

I hate that we keep saying "they just didn't get the bounces" because it feels like such a bad excuse, and yet it always seems like we never get the bounces.

Just like Maverick in top Gun, needed to save his plane in the jetwash to get back into it.

Or Cole Trickle in Days of thunder, Needed to drive through the wreck to get back to being the best driver on the track.

Basically, Mike Smith is Tom Cruise in a 90's movie.
