So now they've done this three times. Pacific has won twice, Metropolitian with the other win last year. Division standings for the All-Star tournament style games are as follows:

Pacific 5 wins - 1 loss
Metro 2 wins - 2 losses
Atlantic 2 wins - 3 losses
Central 0 wins - 3 losses

I really enjoy this format.

It's still a gimic and players take it easy but it is watchable hockey and everyone is having fun.

My only issue is the forced all star from every team thing as it leaves a lot of players that derserve it behind.

Yes, it was a little weird seeing Rakell over Voracek
But from a business sense, it's obvious why they would want at least one player from each team

Overall, I did enjoy the weekend.
It's always cool to see Crosby and Ovechkin on the same line.
