The Flyers Feed interviewed Nick Schultz during intermission and he said "it's a tough building to play in, their fans are really into it."

Almost spat my drink out.

Friedman on the intermission panel! Nice.

Maclean saying refs should have called that a slash but of course it's the flames so they throw the book at them.

Love that the media even believes there is the Wideman effect and yet the league does nothing about it. Is this not a type of match fixing by the refs?

Even MacLean buys the Wideman effect.

Good effort... Elliott in particular looks strong.

Chiasson's penalty was dumb, especially in front of the refs when spearing is fresh on everyone's mind. But 5-and-a-game for what amounts to a nudge in the belly...that's tough

I like angry Bennett. I hope he never loses that edge to his game.

FWIW, Chaison's jab was clearly a spear. And he clearly made contact - even if Cousins sold the aftermath. By rule, the referees made the proper call. The minimum penalty is major + game.

Though it is annoying to see that called against us two days after Gustav Nyquist's infinitely more dangerous spear get called a high sticking double minor instead of the match penalty that it was.

Tkachuk is a rare good interview for a hockey player.

Nice to see some actual thoughts being verbalized by a hockey player.

Chucky is a much better interview than your typical hockey player. Very comfortable.

Again, they went from the least penalized team in the league to the most since the incident. The data really speaks for itself.

I just hope it ends once Wideman is no longer here and they don't continue to hold a grudge against the Flames for backing their player.

Great goal, great interview.

Now go out there and show that idiot Cousins how to be a super pest.

I love Tkachuk.
