Is it just me or is amazon a disaster again?

No good way to navigate, no real flyer like others, when I click a dept from the deals page it gives me 6 ####ing results at a time with no way to see more at once. No way to filter within a dept.

What a #### show.

Go to Best Buy. Click video games, filter by PS4, filter by games or hardware etc. Boom done in 5 mins. Rinse and repeat for other depts.

I got a Braun series 9 electric razor on amazon for $249. I usually see them for 100 bucks more than that, so I'm happy with that deal.

Wanted to get the Ikea coupon for $50 off $200 purchase to finally get a new chair but was too late this morning. Probably missed it by about 10 minutes.

So is the 3DS XL worth the extra hundred bucks more than the 3DS? It's just larger right? My son wants one.

I'm enjoying myself. No lines, no crowds, enjoying a coffee and doing all my christmas shopping.

Glorious.

My kid does ask for an XL one sometimes to replace his regular sized 3DS because it's small, he's 12. Myself I tried a few times but I could never play on a regular sized 3DS. To me I think the XL is worth it.

I ordered a 3DS from Amazon . I have a 3DS xl at the moment. Not sure which I'm going, but leaning cancel 3DS. If I do, does anyone want it instead of me cancelling? The black Mario edition.

Anyone want to recommend a pasta maker? Are they worth it? My wife likes to make all kinds of pasta dishes, is it a PITA to do it yourself?

I'm looking for any cooking stuff, including handy things for fondant cakes or cookies.

Yes, I already bought a sous vide

Depends on what you want to do (i.e. what is it going to be looking at), who it's for, budget, etc.

Whatever you do do not buy anything from Toys R Us or Walmart or a department store.. basically almost anything you could buy at a physical store that isn't a camera store has a high probability of being junk. If it's a gift for someone younger nothing kills enthusiasm faster than department store telescopes.

Anyone know the best place to buy frames for glasses?

I could also use advice on what frames are good to choose. My criteria; to look smart and handsome (this won't be easy). Something that will still look good in five years, not too trendy or stylish. Probably a solid darker color. Thanks people!

For Telescopes, here's a decent guide. The actual scopes and prices are out of date, but the type of scope, size, focal length, etc and the benefits/drawbacks of each are still relevant.

My son (14) got the Celestron 130EQ for Christmas last year (from Costco), we still have not used its full potential, but he loves it. The only downside is it's quite heavy and bulky, so not easy to move around. It believe it was close to $200 last year. It's on Amazon at $229

Huh, I originally posted the sous vide deal that started all this shenanigans but we also picked up a pasta maker a while back. This one has been pretty darn good. Tons of good reviews to read up on. Was $200 I think.

I'd recommend getting the additional faceplate for the "angel hair" as well. The pasta comes out just a tiny bit thicker than you might expect. Still, makes dry pasta pretty much garbage going forward. Made me take a deep drive into the different kinds of flour (semolina, etc.) even making ramen as well.
