In this case it was right in the mix of the play and lead directly to a goal just minutes after the same kind of call went the other way.

There's no way around it, that was a brutal missed call.

it's looking more and more like our best players just aren't that good

Would that be about the time they quit putting the officials names on their backs?

Two pretty bad hockey teams. Expectations are too high. Lots of excuses.

Down by one goal with a full period to go shouldn't be a big deal. Let's see if they have it in them to pull through.

How'd it lead directly to the goal? The guy coming off the bench literally did nothing in the play. He wasn't a factor at all in the play.

The Flames call, the Flames player coming off the bench was the guy who kept the puck in and shot it on net.

They had six players on the ice with the 6th stepping right into the play before the last player was off.

It couldn't have been any more clear, especially after being called the other way just minutes earlier.

Sportsnet even pointed it out immediately during the intermission.

How's about taking a break being the voice of doom for a night?

at the very least its an illegal change and the whistle should have been blown

Again, this was right in front of the bench. I don't think it was quite as obvious as the too many men call on the Flames, but should have been flagged.

Voice of doom? Because I'm correcting you? You clearly didn't watch the same play as me and I just re-watched it and I suggest you do as well. The 6th guy stepped on the ice and stayed along the boards literally doing nothing.

Sportsnet pointing it out means absolutely nothing. They never call too many men unless the 6th guy is involved in the play.

It's ok if you don't understand the rules but let's talk about the play and not talk about someone being the voice of doom because I'm correcting you.

Weird. My sportsnet feed froze.
Had to switch to sportsnet one.
