You should have seen what I saw tonight in the Panthers/Devils game.

James Reimer had a high sticking call after clearing the puck away. The Devils player skated into his stick which was waist high.

Then later, Yandle gets a call for embellishment when he's been given a clear can opener move. He doesn't even fall down, he just gets turned around. Both players go off.

NHL has awful consistency in what is called, and sometimes they make stuff up to boot.

Certainly much better at clearing the zone which I'm happy to see!

That was the most blatant instance of interference possible. It happened right in the centre of the play with all officials looking in that direction and no call. Just embarrassingly bad.

Well I'm liking the defense so far anyway.. Liking Gio with Brodie..
So... anyone else wearing just boxers and drinking wine solo for this one?

Finally can stop streaming and watch on TV....it's tough out here in the boonies.

Flames are losing speed battles, but seem to be "just" in the right place often enough to survive.

I agree with this. I can't complain about the Flames' play but the Sharks are just an elite team.

Unfortunately, looks like a game where the best special teams will win.
