The fact that they voted Sunday out BECAUSE she was a goat is just a testament to how great this season has been. What a group of players, I would be happy with anyone left winning the game.

Always tend to overrate a season on the night of the finale, but that might be my favourite post-merge. Definitely a top 10 season overall with some great moments.
Spoiler!
Never a huge fan of landslide wins, but this isn't one I'll complain about.
Ok. It's been a long time since I've actually been able to watch a Survivor Finale as it was actually playing out. So the following is some train of thought thoughts up to the reveal of the Final 3
Spoiler!
Thoughts as I watched:
Wow, that was a brilliant move by David! And Jay fell for it. So smart to have kept the "This is an Immunity Idol" paper from a previous Idol. What a ploy. Wonder how this is going to work out.
Legacy Advantage...that's huge!
Loved the Immunity Challenge. What an oops by Jay. That likely cost him. I was also amused that several folks were looking at the answer...and still couldn't get it.
Interesting challenge steal. Might as well use it. Jay likely feels like he's going home pdq.
"Was it a working lunch?" Hah! Great question.
Still don't like Hannah at this point (First Tribal) - She just doesn't seem to have any game.
HAHA! Wow, the look on Jay's face...what a play. What a play.
Too bad, Jay. You had a solid, good run. You were one of the top two I'd have wanted to see win this season. Can't disagree, though. If Jay got in front of the jury, he was going to walk home with it.
Interesting challenge, this one. I think that this vote comes down to Bret vs Dave, with Dave losing it.
That's a thought. Final 3 with Dave, Ken and Hannah? That's the order that I'd like.
And...Adam just finds the idol. Hm. Dave goes home. Final 3 looks like Adam, Bret and Ken. Bret wins it cause everyone on the jury loves him.
Telling Hannah...big mistake...If Adam wins (or not) and/or comes back...he has GOT to learn to keep his trap shut. He's talked himself INTO more trouble that he's had to dig himself out of that he should have had to.
Bye, Bret. I have a feeling this is now going to come down to a jury choice between David and Adam. I'm kinda torn on that. I think, despite Adam sniping on David's "story"...I do like it. He's come a LONG way since the first show. I hope that he's able to keep this sort of life momentum going forward.
Hannah...the problem with your strategy of "playing both sides" is that, sooner or later...you need to pick and stick with one. You can't keep stabbing people in the back and expecting them not to expect it from you.
Is this the first challenge that has a set time limit? I can't ever recall one having an actual time limit before.
I've not liked Adam's challenge strategy of backing off the throttle and/or helping others to win. I'm glad that Adam's stack fell over a few times and he wasn't able to wait and win.
Did it seem to anyone else like they weren't always going through the maze? Or was it just clever editing?
Ok. I can't see Ken winning with David in the Final 3. So if he figures that out and goes with Adam and Hannah, he stands a pretty solid chance. Adam's got the story and resume, Hannah doesn't much beyond "Yeah, I kept ending up on the wrong side and winning anyhow, somehow." Ken's got a pretty solid resume, but not much in the way of story. That three goes to Final, I'm thinking it'd look something like 6 Ken, 4 Adam, 0 Hannah.
Ken doesn't do the smart thing, and votes off Adam. Final 3 is Ken, David and Hannah. David wins. Probably something like 8 David, 2 Ken, 0 Hannah.
Ken does the unexpected, and votes off Hannah (best option for the remaining players who actually played). Final 3 of Ken, David and Adam. Would probably look like 7 David, 2 Ken, 1 Adam.
I agree with Adam here. From a purely personal "I want the best chance to win" perspective...Ken needs to vote for David. But...I have a feeling that the fire challenge will appeal to him. I can see it going to Fire.
Wow...Ken actually used his brain and did the smartest move he could make there. I...didn't think he would. I also have to give some mad props to David. He is the last person I'd have though I'd see myself 'cheering' for and enjoy watching him grow so much.I think it's also going to pay off for him. I have a feeling this one'll go either 8 Ken, 2 Adam or 8 Adam, 2 Ken. I'm leaning more towards Ken winning, as Adam stepped on a lot of people
the wrong way going up the ladder, so to speak.
Hannah: "I deserve a million dollars." Oh, no...you so don't.

At the end of the game the right guy one, I can't help but think that there was some sentimentality over the voter, but the winner played the best overall game of survivor this year. Hannah was a terrible player no matter what she thinks and she didn't evolve that much, I'd say that her anxiety and indecisive personality stuck with her through the whole game.
Yeah Ken had integrity and he won some challenges, but he made one big move in the end and it wasn't enough.
Damn Jessica Damn

Taylor - Common question: "Make me vote for you." Hannah: Probably not. Ken: Decent pitch, nothing special. Adam: Nothing overwhelming
Sunday - Interesting-ish question: Ken: Average answer, nice final dig. Adam: Nice dig at Hannah, got right under her skin. Hannah: Avoids question, claims victory
Jess - Goes after Ken's decision to vote David: Not unexpected answer from Ken - Family first
Will - Tries to make a statement, lets Adam get under Hannah's skin.
Zeke - Dismisses Ken; I like his question to Adam/Hannah. Adam: Clever answer. Hannah: Tried to bring up her 'trust cluster'...but it still fell flat. She's acting flustered.
Michelle - Hannah: Doesn't see where she messed up. Adam: didn't answer well either. Ken: Says nothing
Bret lobs a softball - Ken does alright. Adam: Started strong, then started to engage Ken. Lost points on that. Hannah: Not asked, no answer.
Jay - Directly addresses Adam. Adam finally manages to work his "story" in.
Chris - Pumps Adam's tires, giving him credit for basically making Ken go against friendship for family (when it would have been pretty obvious he would have, given how he's played).
David - good question, related to his experience - Hannah: Good answer. Ken: Showed an interesting side of himself. Adam: Last chance to push his 'story'. Takes it, doesn't do very well doing it.
Based on Final Tribal...I'm going to stick with my previous call of 8 Ken, 2 Adam, 0 Hannah.
Well, I wasn't expecting a landslide that way. But I also do agree with CC about the play level. I might not have liked his game (I don't like constant flip floppers) but it worked for him. A complete landslide. That's got a hurt a bit to the other two.
Congrats to the CP winners, D to the iddy and Weitz! You two get to split a virtual million bucks! Enjoy!
I always wish the Reunion show was longer. Now it's been cut to 45 minutes. >.<
To the other 19 players, thanks for playing along with me this season! It was a gooder, to be sure!

Survivor: Game Changers - Mamanuca Islands. Twenty returning players — a mix of winners and losers — will do battle in Fiji for a million dollars. Several of the players — Ozzy, Tai, Caleb, Tony, Sandra, Ciera, and Cirie, as well as Michaela from the just completed season — have been officialy confirmed by CBS as participants
I really disagree with the Adam win. I don't think he ever made a smart movie in the game. He was a flailer unable to think a step ahead. I can only assume the jury was swayed by the sympathy vote, which is disappointing if the winner of the game of Survivor is the one with the saddest story.
I'm sure I'm going to get disagreed with here, but I think Hannah was deserving. She started poorly, but was really running things for around the last 8 votes, while not sticking her neck out to far. She had dumbasses like Adam telling her their secrets. People went to rocks rather than vote her out. She played all the people she needed to to move forward, and as was mentioned, was only on the wrong side of one vote.
Adam saying she made the wrong decisions at the final tribal was cringe worthy. If she had made the wrong decisions, why was she sitting where she was? She made the right call on the first David vote because it kept her close with Ken. Adam thought it was dumb for his game, but for Hannah it was smart and showed she was thinking ahead. The fact that she was able to make all these votes go exactly how she wanted while Adam couldn't put anything together shows she was able to play, whereas Adam was not.
Anyway, was a great season, I just don't think the best of the 3 won. Even Ken was more deserving.

I'm biased but I thought Ken deserved a vote or two at least. He won 4 immunity challenges, including the last two, then made a huge move by voting out David. Don't think it should have been a clean sweep for Adam.
That fake idol move by David was awesome.
Great season.

But it wasn't a "huge move" to anyone but Ken. It was one of the most obvious moves there was, it would have border on Woo keeping in Tony territory of bad moves. Pretty much everyone who had left had said that David was a threat to win, Brett going so far as to say David had just won a million dollars on his way out.
Ken was a goat and had been for a long time. He alienated people with his rigid views that were at times hypocritical. He had a poor social and strategy game. He won a couple challenges, but he was never close to being voted out. How often does a person get a free immunity and it not matter at all on Day 37? He was going to make final 3 because no one was going to vote for him. Beating David, Hanna and Adam in an immunity challenge shouldn't have guaranteed him any votes.
I like Ken, but he was a poor survivor player.

If Ken wanted to play a huge move, he would have kept David in the final three and gone before the jury saying he wanted to beat the best dude using a superior social game and having kept his integrity.
That would have been a big move.

I guess we'll agree to disagree. 4 immunity challenges, including the last two when everybody was desperate to win them, and then voted out the favorite when nobody expected him to. I never said he should win, just thought he warranted a couple votes st least.

You're not alone here. If Hannah won, that would have been satisfying for me - she was annoying at first but she won me over with how hard she after the merge. I thought she was the player who took control the most during the finale and did a decent job explaining her game and picking apart Adam's game in front of the jury.
I don't think Adam's a terrible winner, but he showed he was out of the loop for quite a few votes and made a lot of mistakes socially. His jury performance wasn't great, but I give him credit for connecting with them at the end with his story.
Ken wasn't going to win against David or Adam. Cutting David would have been fine if he hasn't constantly preaching about honor and loyalty the whole game. I think his best move would have been to force the other two to make fire and secretly hope that David loses, and that Adam also looks bad trying to make fire in the process. Ken always seemed to be a bit of an enigma and I think not creating enough relationships with people on the jury also hurt him.
I can't believe Jay fell for that fake idol. That looked so cheaply made and it didn't even have the note congratulating him on finding the idol. His exit was hilarious, but at least he was a good sport about it.
Can't wait to see Tony, Malcolm, Ozzy, Sandra, Aubry, and Tai play again.
