Why is the behind the net camera hot pink and the overhead baby blue?
Fix your feeds Sportsnet, Jesus Christ. How hard is it to have unique colour and white balances for each camera?

That's the primary reason why he's been so productive for the last while/

That was your point? It wasn't exactly crystal clear. I even asked "save them from what" and you didn't answer.
The Flames don't need to be "saved" by a high draft pick. That's Oiler talk. It will be nice if they get a really good player in the draft. But you don't build a team by hoping to be saved by a number one pick.

We need to pick up a nuclear threat to go after players that slash Johnny; word needs to get out that the first player that puts stick on wrist is going to need some serious dental work. NHl officials have demonstrated an inability to do their job.

I don't disagree, but then the NHL has to call that much more consistently, and the fact is they don't. Since the precedent has been set, you either have to crack down on it across the board, or allow that goal.

Is anyone going to stick up for Gaudreau?
The non-response is shameful.

If there's contact with the defenceman causing the offensive player to be in the crease you can't fault a player for encroaching on the goalie. It's just stupid.
How is that any worse than pushing your own net off? If you back the offender into the crease you stand a good chance of getting the goal called back. Simple.

Gaudreau is going to need a lot of adamantium infused into his wrist bones moving forward here. The guy isn't going to be able to pick up a fork after his career with the way this is going. Brutal.

Hrudey - "I think Ferland has been one of the better players on the team during this road trip"
N-E-B - "Ferland needs to goon it up to be allowed to play on this team"

Just wish he'd kept a little bit better awareness of where he was and not let himself slide into the crease. Only thing I will say in defence of the refs there was that Colborne was in the paint and Quick made contact with him in that area. Looks to me like no matter what happens elsewhere, if that happens, its goalie interference. Which is obviously stupid, but thats the NHL for you.
