I swear the Flames were 10X better last year when down a man, with the goalie pulled. They could enter the zone, maintain possession, and generate dangerous changes.

This year it's like they can't even dump it in properly

He's given them a chance to win. Two goals allowed.

From the other replay it sure looked like he couldn't see anything. Gio screened him pretty bad. That goal is on Gio, if you're going to go up that high you better get out the way or block it.

No, don't think he did.

Ortio is bad at shots up high, especially blocker side. Probably should have had that one and looked silly looking around after but I doubt he saw it all the way. Gio was right there in the middle of the ice.

last year goalie pulled strategy was reckless abandon

This year there is a "system" and they don't know what to do with it

The different "perceptions" on what's happening on the ice based on the names on the back of the jersey around here is comical.

Can some post a list of the players, one called the popular players, the other called the bums, and what is the correct way to interpret plays based on which list the player is on?

I love Hiller apologists. Worst save % in the NHL, worst GAA in the NHL. I'd say the negativity towards him is warranted. How anyone sees it any other way is shocking to me.

Lol please re-watch that goal and tell me where I'm wrong. He was screen by Gio and that's not really up for debate. Watch it again.
