It was Backlund who lost the puck on the initial rush and it was the D both pressing that caused the breakaway. Sorry to bust up the narrative, but Raymond was the best player on that tiny power play shift.
The "oh noes, Raymond is on the power play" broken record is getting pretty old. I'd take Hudler off before Raymond at this point.

Gio did not make the right play. The Flames decision making just inside the opposition blue line has been disastrous tonight and against the Jets. The unforced turn overs are ridiculous, honestly to me looks like a sign of over confidence from a team on a bit of a roll.

Yeah, we already started the comeback and then turned the momentum back over to the Oilers on our own damn PP, and then decided that wasn't good enough and went one step further and giftwrapped them another goal.
