Thank you for the summaries Caged Great. Have to say I am a little disappointed Poirier not yet having a breakout camp. It's still early but I was really hoping to hear he was showing flashes even if he ended up getting sent down. I hope it's still to come.

Sounds like Shore not showing much yet. I wonder if BT was blowing smoke about all the interest in him around the league? Maybe we'll find out.

Backlund such a great guy towards the fans. After he scored a beauty top shelf he saw me on the glass watching skated towards me and tapped the glass with his stick and said what's up and smiled. Such a great part of the Flames culture and community.

I want that so bad. If we can turn Ferland into a Lucic type.....

I think Ferland will be a great player for us.

But this search for the ever-elusive Lucic replica will be the death of teams!

Hope Giordano shows a strong game tomorrow considering it seems like his wrist has been weak thus far.

Big hopes for Poirier... lacking confidence at this level?

And the kid is unreal. really impressed with his play. Still think he is universally underrated.

He just needs time to adjust to the differences between scoring at the junior level and the NHL level. He needs to have the puck on his stick more, but that isn't happening for him because the defenders are better. That will change as he gets more experience.

More than happy to do it. It's been a blast this weekend.

Speaking of which, I have to give a special bit of thanks to Ryan (Freeway) for being a good debate partner throughout this weekend. Can't wait to see what the management does with the logjam of good players in the organization this year.

Austin Carroll – There are elements there that look very good, just raw. He might go to the WHL, or the AHL. Time will tell. He will be effective in either destination. This time next year he should be more ready to show he is ready for at least a call up
He's too old for the WHL.

Thanks, corrected.

Also, in the next week or so we're going to have a completely new website that looks a lot better than the one we have been using. Dan has been hard at work to code everything to make it look a lot better visually and easier to navigate. It's almost ready to launch, just have to iron out the last of the bugs.

So if I want to take my boy to watch the 1015 skate this am couple of questions.

Is this open to public?

1. Parking? Where?

2. Entrance door would be the same as pracice?

3. What time would we need to be there?

Yes its open

1. Parking @ the dome (back lot just off the avison young club entrance)

2. Its not at Winsport today, its at the dome see #1

3. Since its the dome, there will be a ton of seats usually all 2nd level, there will be security/ushers to direct you.

No doors appear to be open for viewing.
Nobody seems to know why!

Just an FYI for those planning to head to the dome

••• northeast entrance is now open•••

So, visually you can see improvements to the website?

Just kidding, thanks for the updates!
