Yeah it's not crazy, but it ain't cheap either. Two tickets to a couple games and all of a sudden your down $1000 USD.

that's stupid if true. how does this make sense? is CBC so butthurt that the Flames advanced ahead of the Canucks and Jets that we're no longer considered part of Canada, so that the rest of Canada can't tune in? unless it'll be broadcast nationally by SNET. Habs games will be on CBC though right?

I'm pretty sure CBC doesnt have a choice, and since they get no revenue from the games, i'm sure they are fine with not doing it.

I'll be in the air on Westjet for Game 2. So, not being on CBC really sucks. Until now I was content thinking I would be watching the game, but no Sportsnet on Westjet television.

yeah..national broadcast or not..CBC is more accessible to a wider audience than SNET One. These are playoffs, not regular season games. I think it's a poor decision.

My sole reason for cable is for hockey/Sportsnet. It's not expensive to have for just a few months. But yeah, putting it on CBC would have been better.

I bought game center just so I could watch hockey in Peru but I prefer watching it on my TV.
