It looks like it's down to the Jets, Kings, and Flames for the last two spots and it's like the schedule was fate with the last weekend having both teams on tap. With the Flames holding the tiebreaker on both teams one would think that winning those two games alone may be enough to put them in the playoffs.

Now if Calgary Wins/Lose tomorrow

Win:

- Maintain a spot in third
- Tie with the Jets (ROW & Game in hand for us)
- Get two points ahead of LA

Lose:
- Out of the playoff picture
- LA moves 3rd
- Two points back of Jets
- Four points back of Canucks

Well, it wasn't the WORST possible scenario for the OOT.

Wow. Lack was lights out, after the early goals in the third. Hutch continues to be average. Our only hope is to ride Pavelec, and hope he stays hot for the final stretch.

That is terrible if we lose.

If it wasn't me or you, I'd wish you guys well.

...I pray that Pavelec lets in 32 goals in the next 8 games.

Well, not a great night for the OOT, but at least the Winnipeg/Vancouver game was only for 2 points. I think it would have been slightly better if Winnipeg won. I really think it is going to come down to L.A., Vancouver and us, and whichever one falls to 4th in the division will be out. The wild card race is pretty much for the Central Division and whatever team falls out of the Pacific, will likely slide right past the wild card anyway. With Vancouver winning, it's one less team from the Pacific that will likely fall out of the race.

Vancouver is long gone, that's a pipe dream with their schedule.

Mathieu Perreault a top 5 player on the Jets? Yikes.

Please tell me you have someone better after Buff, Wheeler, Ladd & Little.

Exactly my point. He only said 3 of top 5 to make it sound worse.

Tyler Myers & Tobi Enstrom are also better players than Perreault.

Yeah, the Wild are pretty much a shoe in now. And they just don't lose anyway.

The Flames are only 5 points back and 2 ROWs behind, you never know. Friday's game will probably decide if the Wild can be caught.

Actually we don't need anyone else to do anything. We just need to worry about ourselves and we are in.

You get that from all the zero NHL games he's played?

Not to mention he's a goalie. Goalies are total voodoo. Andrew Raycroft won the Calder. Just think about that.

Totally agree on Ehlers though, that dude is unreal.
