Both Forsberg and RNH got a car each as the last two picks. Ovechkin wanted to be picked last so he would win the car but Kane decided to take him 3rd last.

Giordano was the 3rd last defencman to be picked in the 14th round.

Kessel was the 2nd overall pick and later got traded for Seguin.
