Hiller played well. I still hate his style in net. Seems out of position often.
Not arguing with the result, just looks wrong. I am a Rambo fan. Not arguing against Hiller though. Results matter! So far it looks like a goaltending battle for starter! Wonderful. Two guys playing at the top of their game. May the best man win!
Game notes: Colbourne looked great. Really impressed me tonight. He used his speed, and for me when I talk about colbourne I never talk about his speed. Slow acceleration, but he looked great tonight. Played the body lots too. I was impressed.
Monahan should not be allowed to pass the puck! I love the kid, but man he has made some really bad passes this preseason.
Gaudreau, still adjusting, size and speed of players are causing him issues. Yet I am always impressed with him. Will only get better.
Sven? Sven got bigger and is harder to take down or knock off the puck. Guy was taken down numerous times with cross checks trips holding and no penalties called. Maybe I was missing something, it just looked like the refs would allow the other team to do anything they wanted to do to sven. I am not a Sven lover, I like the guy, but want him to prove he belongs.
