That said I would also be shocked if he didn't go back to Saskatchewan. It would be bad negotiating tactics on his side to say he would only go back to one team. And no one (who had a choice) wants to play receiver for Ottawa at the moment given their QB and offence situation.

I don't think Stampeders will be looking to add Dressler as they are already stocked up with good receivers already. Besides if Dressler is looking for six-figure salary, they'll be in danger of going over the salary cap.

I like that Hamilton's uni and helmet. It is simple and not busy. Yes no plaid and camouflage again. I also like the colour. At least the East is winning on the uniform so far with Montreal and Hamilton's not too busy uniform. I don't like the Western team's uni so far. Saskatchewan probably have the worst so far, then Winnipeg Blue Bombers. I am not a fan of BC Lion's signature uniform either. Hopefully Stampeders uniform is not going to be busy like Riders and Bombers uniform. I like their helmet but still waiting for my judgment on their uniform until I see it.

They claimed 5 teams are interested in signing Dressler. Let's see Riders, RedBlacks, Bombers, Argos and Als? I don't think the Stamps is in the running and I am not sure the Lions are interested either.

I thought he had been playing ok... he's not as good as he used to be, but that's not surprising as he's getting older. Maybe he's lost a step, but from what I've seen he's still a serviceable player.

But all that nonsense for which Stamps (and Rider) fans used to hold their nose and look the other way... the taunting, temper and general ######-baggery is still at an all-star, maybe all-universe level. If anything, he's upped his game in those areas... of course maybe it just bothers me more since the Stamps got rid of him.

I hope Dressler signs with Ottawa.

#1. It is about time for me to like the guy. I think he is an awesome receiver but it's hard to cheer for somebody who plays for the team you dislike.

#2. He will definitely improve the RedBlacks' offense. Burris is missing someone who can catch the ball consistently. The only other weapon they have is RB Walker. Ottawa's receivers tend to drop easy pass. I don't think Burris even looked at Matt Carter against the Stamps last game. I think he lost confidence in him after dropping that ball that cost them the game.

#3. I want to see those former Stampeders coaches to have success in Ottawa. So far, they are not having any luck.

With some of the rumoured dollar amounts of what Ottawa might be offering I would not blame Dressler if he went there. I don't think he would get anything close to the Burris treatment and would still be liked by Rider fans as it appears most of the intelligent fans agree that blowing receivers salaries out of the water makes zero sense to get him back. Desjardins is welcome to do that and be hated by GMs across the league for it. For me, he is my favourite offensive player in the CFL as a Rider or not

I haven't paid that close attention to Argo games but I was at the game in Edmonton last week and when the Argos were down 31-7, the Argos defense actually made a play and Anderson went over in front of the Esks bench and did somersaults, simmer to what the Esks DL does after a sack. I have no problem of some trash tqalk or cockiness when you are up but when you down by 24 points before halftime? Give it up. So happy he is no longer a Stamp.
