McDaniel is going to be a huge blow.
He was money for receiving
If there was any silver lining with BLM out, is having Tate in
Had Tate been 100% Healthy back in training camp, i think he would've edged out BLM for the starting QB job

It does suck to lose McDaniel, but we have great depth at receiver, so I don't think it will be that big of an issue and he will be back for the playoffs.
West will be back next week and Fuller should be back fairly soon also.

Its just incredible how dominant and skilled Cornish is when you look at the rushing stats this year.

LOL. Projected over 12 games, Cornish would have 1408 yards, more than the current #1 and #2 have combined.

I didn't think he had a chance to be the MOP after missing so many games but now he might be the favourite.

The only other guys who should be in the running are John Chick of the Riders and Solomon Elimimian of the Lions. Chick's play has definitely tailed off as of late while Elimimian continues to play very well for the Leos. At any rate, I think those are the only contenders.

I would suggest that, prior to injury, Bo Levi had an outside shot as well. He was up there in yards and lead the league it QB %.
Right now though, it is JC's to lose and considering he missed more than half the games so far, that's down right amazing.

Just got back from Europe, managed to not know what had happened.
What a pleasure those 2 games were to watch! Fantastic.
2 great games, back to back; perfect mornings viewing.

Stamps sign QB Casey Pachall. He was pretty good at TCU -- I guess the Argos cut him earlier this year.

Cornish is amazing, and might be the best player I have ever watched on the Stampeders. I don't really remember many players this dominant.
I actually don't know how good Calgary would be without him.

still pretty good...we did well with replacements, we are just more dominant with him in the lineup.

I did a little reading up on Casey Pachall last night - He broke Andy Dalton's passing records at TCU, but apparently has had some battles with alcohol and drugs (which he now believes are behind him). 23 years old, 6'5" tall and 230 lbs.

The best part is that he's Canadian too, where typically international players(it's really americans) would dominate
Not only that, but because he's Canadian, it frees up another spot for an international in other key areas

Bo Levi has been wandering around practice field without any wraps or braces on his ankle/knee issues. He's moving around pretty well. #CFL

Good to hear but I have complete faith the Stamps won't rush him back.

Jon Cornish isn't making trip to Montreal ... Details to come
Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell6m
Cornish said he made decision himself earlier this week. He's adamant it's not concussion-related, just says some things "accumulated." #CFL

Seems kinda weird. Something to do with playing Kyries Hebert and Montreal maybe...
But I have no problem with him trying to remain as fresh and healthy as possible for the playoffs. We have very capable backups in Walter, Hugh Charles and Jock Sanders.

Cornish needs some maintenance and won't play Sunday. It's not concussion related. "To play at the level I've been at, I need this week off"

Well I won't question him, if he says he is beat up then he's probably beat up.
