Just recalled per Flames Twitter. Well deserved.

thanks for posting the link for that article. I would love to see him get into the game tomorrow night. Feed his drive to play in the NHL by giving him a taste. I am sure his energy will be infectious, the oilers at home on a saturday night is the perfect place to start.
Throw the coilers to the Wolf, let him play!

Now that he's played in a couple of NHL games, what do people think of his chances of sticking?

There is a space for him in the 14 forwards, so long as Granlund, Baertschi, Shore, Ferland, etc. stay in the minors.
He will have to go down when they activate Bennett though, but until we know how that situation plays out, I feel he stays up for a little longer. Needs an extended run to see how close he is to supplanting Bollig

His energy is incredible and he is a force in the corners.
Last nights penalty was a bit iffy IMO as he never hooked on for a holding however the reff had a poor angle on the play and it was the shark holding on as much as it was Wolf.
A big hit in any game can really spark a team and although we have a bunch of guys who are capable of laying the big hit, he and Bouma are the only ones who seem fully interested in doing so!

I like Wolfs energy and drive. But near the end of the game he looked a little out of place. I thought he was running around looking for the big hit and putting himself out of position. I think in time he'll be a big asset to the team and create a lot space out there.
Does he have the same back issue as Lucic? He looks like he has a hunch back.

I didn't know that his dad was a Canadian ex-pat. With a name like Manfred Wolf, I thought his family was completely originally German.

He was breathing awfully hard on the bench in the closeup. He needs to try and get NHL speed as well, or at the very least get a bit better positioning to make up for a lack of quick foot speed. Not as slow as a Westgarth, though and probably can keep up with Bollig.
He is very strong along the boards.

Needs to get better conditioning. Looked good in the first, ok in the second, and out of gas and slow in the third. His penalty was the direct result of being gassed and too slow to stay with the player with the puck.
If he can increase his stamina I'd say he has a chance as he looked good with the puck and brings the physical play.

It's easy to see he's new to the NHL. Wolf seemed lost a couple times out there where he just froze and started watching the play, not knowing what to do. His skating was also a bit shaky, particularly with acceleration.
That said, he still make a positive impact in the game with 2 big hits and some offensive zone time. Put him through the same program Bouma did last summer and I think we've got a player.

I loved his game last night. Strong in the 1st, good in the 2nd and average in the 3rd as he got more tired.
I think it's just a matter of conditioning and getting up to NHL pace, but he should be a very good energy player for us

He is going to be a monster when his conditioning gets up to speed. He looks like a freight train out there and is hard to play against for sure. He looked like a quicker lucic but looked more physically dominating than Lucic. He'll be a beauty in this league for sure.

I'm talking quickness and acceleration more than straighaway, which is probably more important. Heck, McGrattan was fast enough to keep up with a play once he got going. It was just that it took a while.

I thought his penalty was taken at the end of his shift.
I like his game. It's always good to have someone on the team the opposing players look around for before they start something. He's got the size and hopefully enough reputation to known as a player that doesn't just push guys around or hold on in a scrum.

I thought his penalty in many games is a no-call.
