As well, Vancouver holds the tie-breaker over all of those teams except Nashville.

Iginla and Bouwmeester returns were pretty good in retrospect considering this year only 2nds were moved around.

Drafting has been good IMO (Jankowski pick is a minus but he is showing signs).

Cleared out the teams bad contracts and gave us flexibility and cap space with a decent young prospect base in the 3 full years he had here. Also was instrumental in building the positive culture that is around this team currently.

This is getting a little off topic, but Feaster really messed up his first year in charge when he didn't deliver any extra bodies to us except for Frederick Modin. When the injuries hit we had no adequate replacements.

Also not a fan of that Tanguay contract.

The Canucks would be downright idiotic to hire Jay Feaster. Picking Jankowski over Maata, TT and Hertl, and trading core pieces for scraps all leads me to believe that he is grossly incompetent.

Firing Gillis was the right move only if they can find a good replacement. If it is a sycophantic "yes" man to Aquilini then it will be the dark ages all over again.
