From what I've read, they are actually under orders by the team owner, who also owns the network, to be that way. Doesn't make them any less bush, however.

David Jones is pretty good with that little guy. I recall Cammy being pretty cold with his kid.

Ha! I loved the part where he says Westgarth is looking around to see if there's a ref looking right before he cross-checks the guy in the face! Not exactly how I saw the play go down, but whatever works for you bud!
As far as Westgarth, he's reminding me this game of Akim Aliu during that game against the Ducks. He was running around just laying guys out and chirping every time he touched the ice. By the end the Ducks didn't even care about the game anymore, they just wanted to get Aliu. It's something our team has been missing for a while.

Definitely on the payroll, if not the roster. Pretty sure the broadcast network and the team are owned by the same person/people as well.
On our side, 960 just played an interview with Max Talbot and how he's liking Colorado so far. Can tell that these guys actually like hockey as a game, not just 'our' team

I will admit I was not a fan of the Colborne trade up front. And I have been fairly critical of him during his time here - but he's starting to look better. I would like to see more consistency but that will come with time I think. He makes some great passes.
Also, Byron is a whole new player this year. I did not expect his compete level.

Loubardias just said Colborne's won 80% of his faceoffs tonight. That's awesome. This kid's turning into a pretty solid depth centreman. Seems to be steadily improving
