It was at least a foot below the crossbar. There was zero need to review that.

I hope that this stretch against some very good California teams does not cause Monahan to get sent down. We need to see him against the Oil.

Don't know what game you are watching... Sloppy sloppy play, sharks haven't been that good, Calgary has just been that bad

Frick this Sharks team is good. Really in a different league than us. Our defense just isn't strong enough to contain their big power forwards. We need Breen in a game like this, hopefully we can see him in a flames sweater sooner than later.

Am I the only one who didn't think the Flames were that bad in the first? They seemed to settle down nicely after the opening goal. It wasn't as one sided as some of the comments make it out to be.

Deflating goal to end the period though.

Glencross has done nothing, except take a stupid penalty.
The rest of the team is Butlered, on pace for a 6-0 loss.

I have to defend Brodie. This is his first year playing as a top 2. Tonight, he's playing against one of the most difficult match ups in the NHL. He, like the team as a whole, has so much to learn. That's the whole purpose of this season. Just because the Flames got off to a fantastic start to the season doesn't mean we should shift our expectations drastically.

It looked like it was well below the crossbar from my couch. Somewhere around hip/stomach level.

Yikes.... I think Monohan should go down. Doesn't seem assertive enough at this stage.
