The consensus on a lot of the Penguins boards are "Good riddens".

I'm not surprised. That was sad to watch at times.

Pretty obvious when you look at the timing of the Iginla signing and how the day unfolded. Not to mention how Boston was rumored to be one of the prominent teams pursuing Alfredsson leading up to July 5.

I was hoping for Iggy to go to LA, but don't mind Boston at all. They should have an excellent team again next year.

Another reason to hate the Pens.

I would feel the same way. After the first round he was truly awful. Just a turn over machine. So many plays died on his stick. It seemed like he was trying to do to much. Here's hoping he has time to get comfortable in Boston and can win the cup.

Every time I see that Powerade commercial with him in the Corral shooting pucks, I realize how wrong he looks in a blue jersey. I'm glad he didn't end up on a team that wears blue jerseys, especially since I hate most of the teams who wear blue.

Iginla agrees:

“I wish Calgary the best. It’s nice to be in the other conference too so we don’t have to play each other too much or totally dislike each other, right?”

Matt Cooke? that's Bertuzzied's favorite player and he'd hate to see Iginla on his team.

Edit: I'm an idiot for some reason I thought the Panthers signed him but his post likely still somehow had something to do with Cooke.

I wonder if they'll do Kipper's jersey retirement when the Bruins are in town next year?

Wow, what a special night that would be. They could have Kipper come out and stand beside Iginla, and they could play 'Times Like These' while video of the 04 run plays in on the jumbotron.
